Sandstone American Ranch

Along the front range of the Rocky Mountains, located between Denver and Colorado Springs, the 2,100-acre Sandstone American Ranch envisions at least 106 equestrian and non-equestrian homesites. Sixty-seven percent of the ranch will be maintained as open space with great attention to detail in planning and preserving the abundant wildlife corridors, viewsheds and natural features on the ranch. Sandstone American Ranch derives its name from the significant sandstone hoodoos which majestically rise in the center of the ranch.

Part of the M3 Companies "American Ranch" brand, Sandstone is a rural lifestyle community. The American Ranch communities are designed to capture aspects of the rural lifestyle while giving owners a chance to enjoy many of the amenities found in traditional planned communities. Sandstone uniquely features a professionally managed working cattle ranch. Owner families may participate in as little or as much ranch life as they desire; cattle roundups, baling hay and the annual branding of Sandstone calves. There is a community farm where families may enjoy going back to the land and planting in the garden or collect eggs to take home for a fresh, farm breakfast. Educational programs for children will focus around caring for the farm animals.

With a vision rooted in the value of family and the natural beauty of the land, Sandstone, which borders Pike National Forest, offers a full-time concierge and professional staff; stargazing at its finest; miles upon miles of community trails for hiking, horseback and bicycle riding. Owners may also enjoy planned amenities such as the rustic Ranch Camp for gatherings and overnight camping; one of the finest equestrian centers in Colorado managed by professional staff and trainers; trail rides on community horses; riding lessons; 15 acres of lakes for canoeing, fly and bait fishing; and a Ranch Center with gathering places, gourmet kitchen, a pool and spa treatment rooms.

Eagle, Idaho

Boise, Idaho is touted as one of the top growth cities in the west by major news publications and experts. The M3 Companies prides itself on being on the leading edge of real estate market trends, and in 2004 started acquiring land in the foothills of Eagle, Idaho, which lies 12 miles from downtown Boise. The M3 Companies has since acquired over 17,000 acres and has received entitlements on its first 6,000 acres for 7,153 residential units and 245 acres of non-residential development.

Nestled in the foothills along the northern boundary of Eagle, Idaho, the master planned community will be thoughtfully crafted and is slated to include equestrian, vineyard and family custom homesites; seven schools; neighborhoods offering multiple home options by well-known builders; a town center and over 75 acres of lakes. The community will be designed around forty percent open space comprised of natural open space, trails for equestrian and pedestrians, vineyards and wineries, two golf courses, and improved regional and neighborhood parks. The community will be buffered along its southern border from the Treasure Valley by the planned 2,700-acre Eagle Regional Park. The Eagle Regional Park will be the center piece of the planned 14,000 acres of open space within the Eagle Foothills Comprehensive Plan. This plan contains one of the largest planned regional open space networks within a city comprehensive plan in the United States; providing outdoor enthusiasts the ultimate lifestyle.

Wickenburg Ranch

Approximately 45 minutes northwest of the Phoenix, Ariz., Wickenburg Ranch is a 2,160-acre community with planned amenities for all lifestyles. Wickenburg, one of the west's original gold mining towns, was branded as the "Dude Ranch Capital of the World" and has maintained its western heritage. This rich history provides a "sense of place" upon which M3 Companies has designed Wickenburg Ranch.

The M3 Companies is refurbishing the existing Wickenburg Inn, a historical site once owned and operated by Merv Griffin. The Wickenburg Inn casitas will feature fully remodeled and new studio, one- and two-bedroom adobe dwellings. Planned amenities include a full-service, equestrian events center; hiking and equestrian trails; and a clubhouse with meeting space, a full-service day spa and health club. The 6,900-yard, 18-hole championship golf course will provide golfers of all skill levels an exciting day at the links.

The Wickenburg Inn will be opening in the first quarter of 2009.

Prescott American Ranch

The Prescott American Ranch, located just outside of Prescott, Ariz., is the birth place of the M3 Companies American Ranch concept. Once traded for a bag of bullets and a six gun, the American Ranch was acquired by M3 Companies in 1998. Adjacent to over 10,000 acres of Granite Mountain Wilderness Area, the sold-out Prescott American Ranch offered 203 homesites, ranging from one to more than thirteen acres. Residents enjoy a professionally managed equestrian center, accommodating English and Western disciplines; miles of community riding and hiking trails; a Ranch House compound facility with community and special event gathering spots ,a game room and sports lounge, a three-acre fishing lake, tennis and sports courts and a swimming pool; and a Ranch Camp with teepees for camping adventures, a play ground, softball field, tree forts and tree swings; and throughout the Ranch, natural creeks and abundant wildlife add a natural richness to the area.

The land for Prescott American Ranch was acquired from its long-time owners, of over 50 years, after M3 Companies presented a vision that honored and respected the western and historical heritage of the American Ranch.
